We are extremely happy to announce that Maquillage Makeup Academy is working in affiliation with California Hair Design Academy, to bring an innovative and unique learning experience to students who are new to the industry and licensed professionals looking to elevate their personal marketing portfolio. The collaboration of these two highly respected academies will ignite the spark of creativity, and create a vast network of community with copious rewards to professional hairstylists, barbers, and aspiring makeup artists.
On July 11th, Maquillage The Makeup Academy had the pleasure of working with La Bodega Art Gallery for Comic Con! Our Creative Director, Mireille Bertrand, and Assistant Creative Director, LaNae Garcia, created a body paint inspired by Poison Ivy. alongside them Beauty Director, Aleesandra Jones, and Maquillage team members Cy Calac, and Elisa Silva, offered face painting services to all who attended the event. We thank everyone who came out to support Maquillage the Makeup Academy as well as all who came to see the beautiful works of art at La Bodega Art Gallery.
On May 31st, Maquillage was thrilled to participate in Pacific San Diego Magazine's annual Margarita Month bash! Owner and Founder, Mireille Bertrand, and Maquillage Mexico School Director, Lizette Prado, were proud to act as judges for the Milagro Tequila Body Painting Competition, where three talented artists saw their creations come to life thanks to a generous sponsorship from Wolfe Brothers FX.
